Defibrillation Training – Friday 10th May 2019

This event has ended

As many villagers will know, we have a defibrillation machine fixed to the outside of Gilchrist Hall.  Training is being organised by White Waltham Parish Council for anyone interested in learning how to use this life saving equipment.

To book your place on this free course, or to learn more about the defibrillation training session – please contact Lynn Penfold (lynnpenfold@waitrose.com or 01628 822561).  The course will be for 2 hours at Gilchrist Hall and starts at 1:30pm on Friday 10th May.

Defibrillation is a treatment for life-threatening cardiac dysrhythmias, specifically ventricular fibrillation (VF) and non-perfusing ventricular tachycardia (VT).   A defibrillator delivers a dose of electric current (often called a countershock) to the heart.
